Vallejo City Park Rules
This is a synopsis of the rules for Vallejo City Park. These rules are established by the Greater Vallejo Recreation District. If you observe anyone breaking these rules, please report it to the Vallejo Police Department by calling (707) 648-4321, and pressing zero to speak with the dispatcher.
Hours of Use
It shall be unlawful for any person to enter, loiter or remain in or on any District Park at any time between the hours of sunset and 6:00am.
Restroooms
It shall be unlawful for any to deface any restrom or destroy any fixtures. Further,
no person shall loiter or sleep in or about such facilities or use the facilities for purposes other than those intended.
Loitering and Boisterousness
It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in boisterous, threatening, abusive, insulting, or indecent language, or engage in any disorderly conduct or behaviour resulting in a breach of the public peace and/or enjoyment of the facility. No person whall be allowed to operate a vehicle radio or boom box above 85db measured at 50 feet from their location.
Alcoholic Beverages
No person shall sell or possess alcoholic beverages within the boundaries of land or water owned by the district.
Amplified Music/Sound
Amplified music or loudspeaker devices shall not be allowed at any park facility without first receiving permission from the General manager and the Police Department. The volume of sound shall be controlled so that it will not be audible for a distance in excess of one hundred feet from the source and is not unreasonably lound or a nuisance to persons within the area of audibility.
Care of Public Property
It shall be unlawful for any person to mark, deface, disfigure, injure, or tamper with any public buildings, tables, benches, signs or other district property.
Gambling
No gambling of any kind or description shall be permitted within the boundaries of land or water owned by the district.
Possession of Firearms or Other Weapons
It shall be unlawful for a person, other than peace officers in the discharge of their duties, to use, carry or possess firearms, air rifles or any other form of weapon potentically dangerous to human safety.
Refuse, Trash and Litter
It shall be unlawful to dump trash except that which is incidental to the use of the facility and which must be deposited in the receptacles provided therefore.
